WACIC Biobank COVID-19 Vaccine Research Study

Are you planning to have a COVID-19 vaccination?

You have the opportunity to be a part of a new study led by WA clinicians and scientists that will help us understand COVID-19 immunity.

We are recruiting people who are planning to have a COVID-19 vaccination to provide blood samples and health information to the Western Australian COVID-19 Collaborative (WACIC) Biobank over a period of two years. The WACIC Biobank will be used to investigate how immunity to the SARS-CoV-2 virus develops, how long it lasts, and to develop diagnostic laboratory tests to demonstrate whether someone is immune to COVID-19.

If you are interested, you would be asked to attend eight visits at Fiona Stanley Hospital over a period of two years, the first being prior to receiving your COVID-19 vaccination.
