Access all of your results in one place with Healthlink

PathWest is preparing to transition electronic results delivery to the Healthlink Messaging System, our new, secure, results delivery system. This upgrade will improve results access, strengthen data security and privacy compliance, and provide a more user-friendly experience.

Healthlink will:

• Replace the current PathWest Direct results delivery system for accessing pathology results
• Provide a cloud-based, more intuitive interface that is accessible from any device
• Be supported with training and guidance throughout the transition.

What is changing?

• The PathWest Direct results delivery system will be decommissioned soon after all clients transition to Healthlink
• All external results deliveries will move to Healthlink Messaging System, a secure solution for sharing health information, which is widely used across healthcare by GPs, laboratories, radiologists, specialists, allied health and hospitals.

What this means for you

If you are already a Healthlink user

• Results will continue to appear in your existing inbox with PathWest as the sender.
• No further action is required from you. Keep an eye out for details on the cutover dates.

If you are not currently a Healthlink user

🔗 Submit your information for onboarding

• To prepare you for onboarding and enable your access to Healthlink, complete an application form to provide your organisation's details. You can do this online, or if your organisation has more than 5 practitioners/applicants, please download and complete this form.
• To start receiving results via Healthlink, you will be issued with a user account and have the Healthlink Messaging System software installed and configured with our ICT support.

👉 By 12 June 2025: Complete the application form above to enable your access to Healthlink

👉 From 20 June 2025: Site-by-site and grouped migration begins. Our Electronic Results Team will advise you in advance of your exact cutover date.
