Congratulations to Dayle Hunt, Technical Assistant at Broome PathWest – our first Employee of the Season (Bunuru).

Dayle has been with PathWest for many years and is an integral part of the Broome Lab. She has developed professional long-standing relationships with health professionals, and of course our patients in the Kimberley. Dayle supports the Medical Scientist in Charge through taking on a leadership role with the LA's and TA's of the Broome Lab.

Dayle has a genuine caring nature encompassing the PathWest value of caring for her community and staff.

Dayle’s nominator said, “Dayle always makes the time to listen and support people through tough times. She is a truly empathetic person by nature”.

Dayle is accountable for her actions by working transparently. She nurtures relationships with new staff in Broome and takes the time to explain what she is doing so staff can learn from her valuable experience within Broome Hospital and PathWest.

Dayle shows cultural respect to all people and embraces our older and unwell patients by making everyone feel special.

Dayle's work ethic shines with excellence. Her colleagues say, “She is a pleasure to work with and the Broome community is very fortunate to have Dayle as a health care worker in the Kimberley”.

Well done Dayle, you certainly live and work in alignment with the PathWest values and are a truly worthy winner of our Employee of the Season (Bunuru – February-March). Congratulations!

Dayle will receive a certificate and $150 voucher courtesy of our Staff Recognition Program sponsors Paywise and HESTA.
