Celebrating World Blood Cancer Day 2024

28/05/2024

Today, on World Blood Cancer Day, PathWest highlights our theme, ‘It takes a team to care for a patient’ showcasing how our multidisciplinary teams support patients with blood cancer and their families.

Many of our haematologists are trained in both clinical and laboratory medicine. Uniquely for cancer, these doctors are able to test, diagnose and treat the patient.

On this important day, we celebrate the collaborative efforts of our dedicated teams, working tirelessly to improve the lives of those affected by blood cancer.

Take a look at our infographic to learn more about what we do and stay tuned in the coming weeks as we feature our staff involved across these teams.
