Rhesus D Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing now available at PathWest

Commenced on 4 November 2024, the Rhesus D Non-invasive Prenatal Testing (RHD NIPT) screening test is now available for pregnant patients who are Rhesus D-negative, do not already have anti-D antibodies and are fully covered under Medicare.
The test should be done between 20 to 32 weeks at a PathWest collection centre and requires a special collection tube.
