Nominations open for the WA Health Excellence Awards 2026

Nominations are now open for the 2026 WA Health Excellence Awards.

PathWest teams make invaluable contributions to WA’s health system, and these awards provide an important opportunity to recognise that outstanding work.

The ten award categories recognise excellence across:

  • Preventive health
  • Mental health, alcohol and other drugs
  • Person-centred care
  • Safety and quality
  • Workplace wellbeing and culture
  • Research and innovation
  • Sustainability
  • Aboriginal health
  • Rural and remote health care
  • Care for older people

In addition:

  • The Director General’s Award recognises an exceptional team or project.
  • The Minister for Health’s Award honours lifetime achievement.
  • The Health Heroes Award enables the community to recognise a staff member who has gone above and beyond.

Key dates and important information

  • Final nominations close at 5:00 pm on Friday 26 June 2026
  • Finalists announced in September
