Research and Development

We are actively involved in a wide range of research and development activities in various areas including bone metabolism, lipid and lipoprotein metabolism, cardiovascular genetics, diabetes and endocrine disorders. We undertake research activities both independently and in collaboration with external researchers.

Services including the provision of routine and non-routine testing of Biochemical markers, BioBanking and advice on clinical interpretaton of research findings are offered. To discuss possible collaborative research projects with us, please contact the relevant Head of Department.

For pathology involvement in commercially sponsored clinical trials, initial contact should be made through the clinical trials unit.
