Sendaway Testing

Dispatching of Samples for Testing at Interstate and International Laboratories

Our lab can arrange transport of DNA for genetic testing to interstate and international laboratories. However, it is the clinician's responsibility to research the relevant sendaway laboratory, test, cost, sample requirements and accompanying documentation prior to dispatch.

Interstate and international testing will in most cases incur a fee. The clinician or patient must provide billing details before the sample is dispatched. Samples are transported by courier and the clinician will be notified once the sample has arrived at its destination.

Please contact Sendaways.DiagnosticGenomicsQE.PathWest@health.wa.gov.au with any enquiries.
