Congratulations to Zoe O'Keefe for being awarded the Employee of the Season Djeran 2023.
Zoe has worked at PathWest since 2007 and is currently Acting Medical Scientist in Charge in the Molecular Diagnostics team at Microbiology, QEII.
During the response to COVID-19, Zoe regularly went above and beyond her normal duties to build and validate new assays for PCR testing used to detect specific pathogens critical for timely diagnosis and infection control.
Despite having multiple priorities in her role, she consistently exhibits a positive attitude by providing support to her team and junior staff in resolving technical issues.
Zoe demonstrates a commitment to the PathWest values of accountability, respect and striving for excellence in all she does.
Congratulations Zoe! Thank you for your ongoing commitment and dedication in improving the health, wellbeing and safety of our communities and making a difference every day.
