Congratulations to LIS Application Specialist Shae Inglis for being the Employee of the Season Kambarang 2023.

Having recently received her 10-year Recognition of Service Award, Shae has played an integral role in the LIS team, contributing significantly to the development, implementation, and operational phases of the LIS. Beyond her regular duties, Shae has made a remarkable impact on enhancing the LIS and patient care. This includes dedicating long hours during software updates and addressing major issues to ensure the lab system runs effectively.

Shae extends her contributions by building and maintaining strong working relationships internally (with discipline Subject Manager Experts) and externally (with LIS vendor groups). Proactively engaging in the enhancement of the LIS application support, Shae voluntarily prepared exceptional communications for the LIS and ICT teams. Additionally, she developed the LIS hub on SharePoint, featuring several knowledge base and team communication tools vital to the LIS operations and support.
Shae embodies PathWest values daily through her dedication and commitment to improving the LIS, promptly assisting staff in issue resolution, and contributing to PathWest's high standard of care for its staff and communities. She consistently tackles challenging issues with enthusiasm, resolving them inclusively – respecting all groups involved and considering different opinions in finding optimal solutions.
Shae's eagerness to learn, not only within LIS and ICT but across PathWest, has made her invaluable in resolving issues and creating innovative solutions. For instance, she collaborated with members of the Patient Reporting BUG to implement changes and improvements to patient result reporting. Shae's outstanding work ethic serves as an inspiration to the entire LIS team and other groups, fostering collaboration to enhance the health and safety of the community. Her ability to cultivate strong relationships, improve systems, and tackle issues of any size demonstrates a genuine commitment to PathWest.
